Using the parts of body as correlating to an Archetype and predominant type of function within the body



BODY AS MICROCOSM - Mind-body-medicine

Astrologically speaking, it is known what areas of the body are affected by signage.

This is just an example of knowing the parts of the body affected by signs (archetypes utiilising common functions which affect the body in such ways)


These are just EXAMPLES of how the mind-body link works, and relating it to astrology.

To create balance, we can either participate in activities that come most naturally (without force and where natural interests lie) or we can strengthen the parts of the body that represent the polarity:

Aries (head)-Libra (mid-lower back),

Taurus (throat/shoulders)-Scorpio (bladder and sexual parts),

Gemini (lungs, arms) -Sagittarius (hips, upper legs)

Cancer (stomach)-Capricorn (knees, bones, teeth),

Leo (chest and back/torso)-Aquarius (shins)

Virgo (intestines/absorption)-Pisces (feet)

Prominent planets in Capricorn, Aquarius to Pisces - knees through to feet. Where achieving, thinking and contemplating affect the body in different ways. Over-use, reliance on natural abilities (mental in these cases) and their relationships with other planets (characteristics) or imbalanced use of function through lack of direction, overfocus and repression can also be a factor in how they are affected.


Capricorns (Saturnians) developing arthiritis, sore knees or bone problems can balance this by honing in more on their feelings (lunar - polar opposite), literally 'taking a load off', less time on their feet less tension on the knees. Strengthening the gut muscles and accumulating more nourishment in their diet (primarily the minerals - calcium, magnesium for instance).

Aquarians (Uranians) developing nervous disorders, low blood pressure or sore shins, can balance this by participating in activities that strengthen their core (solar plexus) and lower back, so the weight isn't being placed too heavily on the lower parts of the body. Dancing, shaking, moving, anything to divert the mind into physical activity works wonders.

As for circulation and nervousness the blood shouldn't pool in the lower limbs either when there is a balance of blood return. More blood flow to the head, and more core-back exercises will effect confidence levels in a healthy way to offset nervous conditions.


Pisceans (Poseidons) developing feet conditions, pooling of blood or anaemia, if balanced (chironically) via alternative medicine and correct digestion and more time spent in logical thinking (even if channelled creatively) will allow a higher rate of oxygenation, correct nutrition and a stronger sense of balance, as it can kick start processes by thinking more directly and get them into action. This is the case in Neptunians where Mars or more lively aspects are not a main focus.

Both Mars and Neptune cannot exist, as one dissolves and one forces creation. Both cannot be working in their stereotypical ways at the same time. Taking turns is surely a good start.
